My Journey From Mom To Blogger

Hello Friends,

Today I am here to share my story, my journey from mom to blogger.

I am a bit confused about where should I start?

Before Blogging life:

Ok, I start with my school & college days. I was a bright student in my school & college as well. I scored very well. You can say I was an all-rounder kid.

I loved to participate and explore each & every extra circular activity whether it is singing, essay writing, poem recitation, debate, quiz etc. And I registered my presence all over as a winner.
As I entered college, I don’t why I restricted myself to very few activities and concentrated more on studies. Maybe I was worried about my result as I scored a little bit low about my expectation.
I completed my post-graduation with the distinction marks and I was very happy that I achieved what I want. I have cleared the entrance exam of B.Ed and that was the time to enrol myself. But suddenly my life took a turn & I got married in 2010.
I couldn’t complete B.Ed because I have to go to another city. It was my decision not to complete and today sometimes I regret my decision. I thought I would complete after my marriage but I was wrong.

After becoming a mom how life changed

Another big change was waiting for me. I was pregnant after a few months of my marriage and In 2011 I was blessed with a princess and now I was a mom.
Sudden change a year ago I was a student then wife & then suddenly a mother. My role was changing so dramatically.
In between I forgot about anything related to me, my focus was shifted totally towards my daughter. And after completed 1 year, she suffered from pneumonia and a huge cycle of responsibility started from here.
It took a total of 6 years to recover from that. Now also She is sensitive so I have to take care of her a lot. When she was 5 I was blessed again with a baby and this time a baby boy.
Again a whole cycle has started. Now my son has completed 2.This was the time when I decided to think about myself. A long break from my passion for reading and teaching disturbed me most of the time.
But I managed to come out anyhow. I was not sure about my career, what should I start in which I can take care of my family and do some fruitful to me also.
I loved reading and writing. I used to write a diary about my experiences, my emotions what I feel so it was rooted somewhere in my subconscious mind so I started to write.

How did I start blogging?

I made an account on WordPress but I was not regular on it. I wrote 2 posts and after 6 months of that, I didn’t write anything because I was so stressed and puzzled with my situation. I wanted to do a lot of things but I am not getting the time for it.
But In the mid of November 2018, I convinced myself enough this is the high time to think about myself also otherwise I would go in the shell and maybe will never come back from it.
Thankfully I prepared myself to fight this battle and I started writing back to back, daily or 3 to 4 in a week. Starting was not so good but I made my way and never gave up. Gradually I was gaining my confidence.

My Blogging Journey:

And In the starting of the year 2019 with lots of Ifs and buts, I prepared myself to take part in the blogging challenge. I participated back to back in 3 blogging challenges.
This was not easy for me but I was mentally prepared for anything. This determination helped me a lot. And I am glad to announce that I was declared as a winner “Most Promising Blogger” in one of the blogging challenges in 2019.

My Blogging plans-

Now I have a plan for everything in my mind and I am stepping one by one. Again I am going to participate in the next challenge in the upcoming weeks.
My next step is to turn into an author from a blogger. I started planning it. This is my story from a mom to a budding blogger. I hope you will like it.
Never forget, “If there is a will, there is a way always.

#Thebookblogtrain: Tips And Tricks to increase reading in kids

Hello Everyone!

This is my 2nd post of #Thebookblogtrain Season2.

How can one increase the habit of reading books in kids?

Here I will share my experiences and my tips or tricks which I used for my kids. I hope you will find these useful.

Tips And Tricks to increase reading in kids-

1. Start with the books full of images

Kids are slightly different readers, they first get attracted by the book covers, characters or the images then they agree further to read more.

Pick the book of their favourite characters or you can pick their favourite pictures book too and see the magic.

2. You have to involve with them to make them sit and read

Here I am taking my kid’s example. They are not ready to sit easily at one place and read the book. I have to sit with them and make an environment of reading, explaining such things which they are not getting directly.

By doing this you can maintain their interest otherwise after reading some lines if they struck somewhere, they feel disinterested.

3. Let them decide which book they want to read, discover their area of interest

My daughter like to read all type of kids magazines and books. Now she has some command on the language too so she can easily understand, what is the story talking about.

I have crossed that phonics part, that is very essential for initial reading in kids. If they wouldn’t relate then how will they connect?

4. Make reading is your family time-

I observed, kids often copy you, If you are fond of the reading or you have a habit of reading books then they will also catch the habit of reading.

My daughter started reading like this only. I read and gave her a book too, sat with her and started explaining the story or picture. That’s how she picked up the interest of reading.

5. Don’t force kids for reading

Kids do not appreciate the things which they do forcefully. Firstly you have to understand the mood and interest of the kid. If he or she is in the mood of playing with you then you can create different innovative games using books.

Like I do, I tell them that I will introduce the first 2 lines, then next is your turn, we will give points to each other and count in the end. Believe me, they will enjoy and ready for the engagement.

6. Initiate with Kids Ebooks and Audiobooks

If they are small then you can start with Audiobooks and Ebooks. You can interchange their screen time with interesting Ebooks. They will definitely enjoy.

Later when they will show some interest, you can introduce the books physically.

I am sure these tips and tricks will help you. What are your suggestions and what tricks do you apply for your kids?

Please let me know in the comment section. Till then take care and enjoy reading with your kids.

Regards & Gratitude

#Thebookblogtrain : Books Are Darlings!

Hello Friends,

I am back with a poem again & this time I am using specific keywords like books, read, love & coffee which are given by the team of #Thebookblogtrain

Yes, You are right. I am again the part of Thebookblogtrain. Now, this is Season 2. I have already participated in Season 1.

Here you can read my Season 1 participation.

Book Review- “The Power of A Subconscious Mind”

https://myaspiringhope.wordpress.com/2019/03/19/book-reviewthe-power-of-your-subconscious-mind-thebookblogtrain/

Everybody defines books in their own way. For me books are life changers, books are the life saviours and books are true friends.

They will never ask you for a return favour. Books make you free from your narrow thinking and give you an open sky to expand your imaginations.

Books give you the ways to think and live your life in the way that you never think before. Really Books are darlings.

I am expressing my attachment towards books in my own way. I hope you will enjoy.

Here I start,

Books are the best friends, Do friendship.

They will teach you as a guardian in this relationship.

Books suggest you the way to be a better person.

It is your choice, either you take it or reject the suggestion.

You can talk as a reader friend, they are always available.

And you don’t need to check it out which time is suitable.

Books give you a lot of options to read.

It will never ask you about your religion, caste & creed.

You are free to make your choices here.

Nobody will bound you & you can enjoy your own sphere.

I love books & off course, they love me too.

That is how they pick me first & I thank them for my rescue.

Coffee & tea are the best companions, what do you say?

The aroma of tea & the essence of the book insists us to sit & read every day.

Once you accepted this friendship & this offer.

I can bet you, you will never step back forever forever.

Here I end with the quoted lines-

“You know you have read a good book when you turn the last page & feel a little as if you have lost a good friend”.

Ambition: Draw Your Line!

Hello Friends,

Welcome Back to My Poetry World.

AMBITION”

Ambition is a reason to focus more on the goal.

It helps us better to understand our role.

It creates positive or negative impacts, you should understand the whole.

You will get the best results when It is used in control.

Over ambition may drag you far away from humanity.

You should think more about the balance to avoid insanity.

It is a quality when It is used positively.

An excessive amount of ambition may lead you negatively.

Too much ambition produce greed & addiction.

We must have to draw a clear line between right and wrong fraction.

I hope you enjoyed today’s poem. Give your feedback in the comment section.

Things I wish I knew as a First-Time Author | #BlogchatterEbook

The Contemplation of a JOKER

Things I wish I knew as a first-time Author

It was around the same time last year when my relationship with Blogchatter started. They had announced their annual BlogchatterEbook Carnival, which transforms a blogger to a self-published author. Since I didn’t have much time to create new content for the Ebook and I desperately wanted to test publishing waters; I decided to edit and compile the existing top blog posts from my blog ‘The contemplation of a Joker’ and give this activity a real chance.

Today I can proudly say I am an author of a ‘self-published’ book. This year Blogchatter has given me an added responsibility. They took from a blogger to an author and now they are converting this author into a mentor for the people who would be participating in this years’ carnival.

I am proud to be considered a mentor for this year’s #BlogchatterEbook and…

BlogchatterA2Z Reflection Post 2019: My Experience

#BlogchatterA2Z #A2Zchallenge

This year, this is the third consecutive challenge in the row in which I participated and frankly speaking, the experience was more than anything.

It is the challenge with 26 posts based on the daily alphabets A2Z. What I loved about this challenge that I had the freedom to write whatever I wanted to write although they prefered to select a theme, it was not compulsory.

Hence I choose the theme “Dil se” because this is my first time and I was not sure about the specific theme.

This is the roller coaster ride for me. Once I get to know about the challenge, I want to participate but the only problem was that I knew I would have to travel in the last week of the challenge because my tickets were booked.

I was hesitating because I didn’t want to drop the challenge in the mid of the month, I texted blog chatter many times and every time they replied very patiently my same and repetitive questions.

Thanks to Blog chatter to suggest different solutions which I don’t know earlier. In November 2018 only I started writing seriously earlier I was not sure about my writing agenda. I used to write occasionally once in a while. I made an account on WordPress on May 2018 but I wrote one or 2 posts and then went to my shell and be dormant.

But When I decided I want to write seriously then I never looked back and started worked harder and harder. Blogchatter is one of the platforms who taught me to be consistent due to their weekly twitter, facebook chats.

When I knew about the challenge I was doubtful about my role but once I started and connected with the fellow bloggers and their wonderful blogs. I forgot about the thought of my travelling and all. I daily wrote one post and read 10 to 15 blogs.

I started struggling with the routine change because Often I used to complete my post in the evening and linked in the midnight. Sleepless days nights are my new routine.

Earlier I thought I would write a detailed motivational post daily but soon I realised I would not continue with the idea because my both the kids are small and they need the more time so I switched the idea with the motivational poetry and believe me I loved it even I didn’t know my self-love about poetry which I discovered this throughout the challenge.

I would recommend to all the bloggers to participate once in this challenge, I am sure they will get many new dimensions for their writing.

Connectivity is the best part of this challenge. Bloggers are not connected for the sake of the challenge, literally, they read the full post, try to understand to writers mind what he or she wanted to say and comment accordingly. I think this is the commendable job which everyone should appreciate in their own way and they did it also many times.

I am glad that I completed the challenge gracefully although I was travelling. My blogger’s friends helped me who are participating in the challenge to link my last two posts.

The only regret is remaining that I am not a part of the Blogchatter Ebook this year due to my travelling. But It’s ok. My friends are participating and I am very happy for them. I want to convey my regards and best wishes to all of them.

I learnt a lot of things through this challenge. And now my vision about my thinking is totally changed. I am feeling much more confident than earlier. Wonderful Wonderful experience it is.

Regards & Gratitude
